This expansion will allow Acres to provide a wider coverage of support to farmers and rural businesses within the Midlands, East Anglia and further afield.
Georgie Spencer
Insurance Broker
Georgie has 20 years’ experience within the agricultural insurance industry. Starting her career at the NFU in 1998 and moving to an insurance brokerage in 2005 she has had the benefit of experiencing all aspects of the insurance sector which has provided her with extensive knowledge therefore you can be assured that Georgie is able to provide her clients with professional and accurate advice at all times.
Georgie grew up on her family farm and is still actively involved, which is now managed by her older brother. Georgie knew from an early age that she wanted to work in the agricultural sector without actively being a farmer and found that supporting farmers with their insurance needs was ideal for her.
Georgie is strong member of the local community; her enthusiastic and outgoing personality will put a smile on anyone’s face. She now lives in a small village near Peterborough but provides insurance support to farmers in many locations travelling as far as Kent.
Steve Corton
Insurance Broker
Steve’s expertise lie within rural and commercial insurance. With over 30 years’ experience within the insurance sector Steve has had the opportunity to experience many aspects of the industry including underwriting, claims and sales. His knowledge within the industry is extensive which is demonstrated by his large portfolio of clients.
Steve has a naturally calm personality which allows him to deal with difficult situations with ease and professionalism at all times, his funny personality brings life to the office.
Living in Northamptonshire Steve has an array of clients within the surrounding Counties, often travelling within 100 miles of his location.
William Bowley
Insurance Broker
Will started his career as a professional Rugby player with Worcester Warriors, where he stayed for 9 years. Upon retiring from the sport he found a home in the Lloyds Insurance Market but being a country boy at heart he was drawn to agricultural insurance sector. Wills friendly and confident approach has enabled him to build a successful career with a strong book of arable and livestock farming clients.
Will has recently started a family with his wife Jess and welcomed a baby boy, Fraser. He has relocated from Northamptonshire to Worcestershire and will be supporting farmers within Worcestershire, Wiltshire, Warwickshire, Herefordshire and Shropshire.
